and Exchange On Campus, LLC. From now on, whenever this document uses the phrase 
“the Site” it refers to www.exchangeoncampus.com.

First and foremost, use basic common sense. If a post seems questionable, be 
cautious. Do your research, and use good judgment. In order to make this site 
as easy to use as possible, and functional, Exchange On Campus, LLC bears no 
responsibility for bad judgment calls made by you. 
The following document makes this explicit.  

I AGREEMENT

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site.

By using the Site, you agree to accept all rules written in this agreement, 
expressed to you by a person representing Exchange On Campus, LLC, or rules 
written elsewhere within the Site. If you object to these rules or become 
dissatisfied with the Site, your only course of action is to stop using the Site.


II AFFILIATION

Exchange On Campus, LLC is independent from any educational institution, 
and does not claim to be speaking for any institution. 
That means Exchange On Campus, LLC does not claim affiliation with your or 
any other university. The Site’s use of any school name is merely an identifier 
for users, and a way in which to make it easy to search for items by school. 
Your affiliation will be based upon their email address.


III CHANGING THIS AGREEMENT

This agreement may change at any moment. It is your responsibility to keep up 
to date with any current or future changes. You can always look at this at

IV NO WARRANTIES

A warranty is a promise implied, written or explicit, that a product conforms to 
some standards, performance, usability, or perfection. As the Site is a venue for 
people to trade their goods used or otherwise, and promote their individual opinions, 
services, postings, and information, Exchange On Campus, LLC claims no warranties for 
any goods, services, recommendations, or information purchased or obtained through 
using the Site.

The legal terminology is that anything provided through using the Site is on an 
“as is” or “as available” basis, with no warranties. To the fullest extent allowable
by laws in your jurisdiction or area, Exchange On Campus, LLC disclaims all implied 
and expressed warranties for any type of good, service or information.  

V LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Exchange On Campus, LLC will not be liable under any conceivable circumstances for
any direct, indirect, special, incredible, incidental, consequential or exemplary 
damages, even if Exchange On Campus, LLC was warned of the possibility of these 
damages. Through all usage of the site by users, Exchange On Campus, LLC will not 
be held liable in the user’s or any jurisdiction. 

In the event that you are unable to access the Site, Exchange On Campus, LLC will 
not be liable for any losses, commercial or otherwise, from the Site’s period of 
absence. Exchange On Campus, LLC will not be liable for any adverse situations 
occurring because of products or services received through the Site. Users are 
personally responsible for making smart decisions.

VI INDEMNITY

You, the user grants any person affiliated with Exchange On Campus, LLC indemnity 
in any event caused by or arising from usage of the site, including applicable attorney fees.     

VII CONTENT

If you follow a link away from the Site all content is the responsibility of whomever 
runs the outside site or services. Exchange On Campus, LLC makes no claim (or representation)
to the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any information gained through using 
the outside site.

Your interaction with any entity found on or through the Site, including monetary 
transactions for goods or services, and any other conditions or warranties associated 
with such transactions, are solely between you and the other party. 

Try to find out all relevant facts related to your transactions before proceeding with 
payment. Be smart, use good judgment and be responsible.

You agree that Exchange on Campus, LLC will not be responsible for any damages, losses 
or hardships of any kind that happen through any transaction. If you get into a dispute 
arising from using the Site, Exchange On Campus, LLC is under no obligation to intervene 
in this matter. You release Exchange On Campus, LLC from all damages, court fees and any 
other imaginable cost, damage or claim of any nature, whether known or unknown, suspected 
and unsuspected, disclosed or not disclosed, coming from or related to using the Site. 
  
VIII INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION

If you believe that copyright infringement has occurred on the Site, please notify

a) Identify the material on the site that you claim is infringing;

   information in your Notice is accurate, and (2) that you are the owner of 
   the copyright interest involved or that you are authorized to act on behalf 
   of the owner;
d) Your address, telephone number, and email address; and
e) Your physical or electronic signature.

Exchange on Campus, LLC will remove the infringing posting(s), on a case by 
case basis using applicable law. 


IX CONDUCT

You agree not to post or email, any content or services that:
a)	Violate any law in any jurisdiction anywhere in the world.
b)	Are harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, invasive of another 
	individual’s privacy, or are harmful to minors in any way;
c)	Are pornographic.
d)	Discriminate against an individual or group on the basis of religion, 
	gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, national origin or disability;
e)	Are false, untrue, or deceptive, AKA DO NOT LIE.
f)	Are any intellectual property (pictures, postings, words) owned by someone 
	else without their permission.
g)	Are junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited commercial 
	advertisement;
h)	Contain viruses or any other computer code. 
 
You agree not to:

Attempt to control the site, flood it, take it down, “mess” with it, gain unauthorized 
access to it or any computers related to it. 


X LIMITATIONS and TERMINATION

Exchange On Campus, LLC at any time for any reason imaginable may prohibit you from 
using this site, no questions asked, and with no warning or prior contact. 
Exchange On Campus, LLC is not responsible for deleted content or failure to store 
any content on the Site.You agree that Exchange On Campus, LLC, in its sole judgment 
can block your email or IP address (or not do so), and prevent you from accessing or 
using the Site, for any reason, and at any time without contacting you. Postings may 
be deleted or removed for any reason. You agree not to use the Site after Exchange On Campus, LLC 
terminates your access. 

XI PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

All material related to the Site is copyrighted. Do not use materials from the Site 
without Exchange On Campus, LLC’s permission. 

XII VIOLATION OF TERMS 
Please notify Exchange On Campus, LLC of any violations of the terms by sending us 
an email for review. If concerning a posting, include the name of the posting.
